Report turnaround

The sample is billed, the machine runs it, the report is ready — nobody typed a number.

The slowest, most error-prone step in a lab is a person copying values from an analyser printout into a computer. MediSpa listens to the analyser directly — ASTM, HL7 or the vendor format — so the value on the report is the value the machine produced.

A creatinine typed wrong at 11 pm is a phone call from a doctor the next morning. This removes the typing.

You pay for the machines you connect. We set it up, license it and look after it.

Per-machine pricing is fairer to a two-analyser lab and scales properly for a large one, and it explains itself in one sentence. The connection software is licensed to us and administered by our team, so adding support for a new analyser does not need anyone at your PC.

The questions buyers ask

We are a lab, not a hospital. Is this too much system for us?
Most of the facilities we run are diagnostic centres or combined hospital-and-diagnostic centres, not pure hospitals. You use the billing, lab, radiology, pharmacy and accounts modules and ignore the rest; there is nothing to buy or switch off.
How is lab integration priced?
Per connected machine, separately from the monthly fee — so a two-analyser lab pays for two, and a large lab scales properly. Other vendors roughly double their price for 'with LIS' regardless of how many machines you run.
Our analyser is not on your list.
Tell us the model. Results parsing covers more machines than the families named here, and adding a new one does not need a visit to your PC — the parsers are delivered over the network.
What about the reports themselves?
236 report templates with 538 reference ranges are in the system on day one — the ones our facilities actually print, corrected over years. Reports come out in the format your consultants already sign.
The internet at our centre is unreliable.
The software runs on a server inside your centre. Billing, sample entry, results and report printing continue without the internet; only outside access pauses.
